Tungsten carbide precision balls are manufactured in two standard material grades of C-1 and C-2. Nickel and other special grades are quoted upon request.
C-1 with better shock resistance than C-2, this grade is typically used as a mining grade where toughness and abrasion resistance are also important. It has also proven useful in bearing applications.
C-2 affords higher wear resistance and toughness which make this grade an excellent general purpose grade for use in pumps and valves.

Tungsten carbide precision balls are used in a wide variety of applications including bearings, medical equipment, ball screws, valves, testing equipment and a multitude of other applications where diameter, surface finish, and roundness are critical.
