Tungsten Carbide Nozzle

Tungsten carbide nozzle is made from hot pressing with straight bore and venturi bore type. Due to its hardness, low density and excellent wear and anti-corrosion, Tungsten carbide nozzle has been widely used in sandblasting and shot peening equipment, offering a long life with optimum air and abrasive use.

When choosing a tungsten carbide nozzle, consider the amount of available air in cfm, the capacity of the blast machine and the inside diameter of the piping, and the blast and air hoses. For optimal performance, these elements must be compatibly sized.

If too large a nozzle is used, low blast pressure and rapid wear on the blast hose will occur. If too small a nozzle is used, smooth media flow will be difficult to achieve.

Tungsten carbide nozzle offers long life and economy when rough handling cannot be avoided, and where medium cutting abrasives (glass bead, steel shot & grit, mineral or coal slag) are used. Traditionally, tungsten carbide is the material of choice for general nozzle applications. Tungsten Carbide Button

Tungsten carbide button has good hardness (86 ~ 93HRA, equal to 69 ~ 81HRC), good heat hardness (reach 900 ~ 1000 ℃, keep 60HRC), good wear resistance and other excellent performances. It is a high hardness refractory metal carbides (WC, TiC) micron powder as a main component, cobalt (Co) or nickel (Ni), molybdenum (Mo) as a binder, in a vacuum furnace or a hydrogen reduction furnace sintered powder metallurgy products. ⅣB, ⅤB, ⅥB metal carbides, nitrides, borides, and so on called as cemented carbide, due to their particularly high hardness and melting point. 

Tungsten carbide button has all characteristics of cemented carbide, which can be directly divided into two compounds of tungsten and carbon, WC and tungsten semi-carbide, W2C. Both compounds may be present in coatings and the proportions can depend on the coating method. 

Tungsten carbide button is widely applied for rock tools, mining tools for use in quarrying, and mining, tunneling, and civil constructions. Also, tungsten carbide buttons are fitting for serving as drill heads of heavy rock-digging machines, plumbun heads are used in deep hole drilling terrace vehicles.

Tungsten Carbide Rods

Tungsten carbide rods include rods with the shapes of round, rectangular and square, solid rods and rods with one or more straight or coolants. The grades are mostly fine and super fine grain with high performance.

Tungsten carbide rods' applications include drill bits, end mills, and reamers. Custom diameters and length are also available in these grades as well as metric sizes.

Tungsten carbide rods are mostly applied for end mill and drill with sub-micron grain grade YG10X, for non-ferrous precision cutting and wood cutting with Sub-micron grain grade YG6X, and for fibreglass reinforced plastics, titanium alloys, hardened steel with Ultra-fine grain grade YG8X, ect.

Tungsten carbide rods are manufactured as standards with one, two, or three holes, straight or twisted to a 30 or 40 degree helix, or solid with no holes. All rods are available in standard lengths of 310 and 330 mm. Custom lengths available by request.

Code key for the description of sintered tungsten carbide anvils

DC636: DC means the name of sintered products, 6 means category of sintered products, 36 means dimensions of the working facets of sintered products.

a. The part is 2 Chinese phonetic alphabets indicating the name of sintered products. For example, DC indicates anvils and DG indicate pressure cylinders.
b. The second part is one numeral indicating the category of sintered products. For example, 6-facet anvils are indicated by 6 and 2-facet anvils and pressure cylinders are indicated by 2.
c. The third part with 2 numerals indicates the dimensions of the working facets of the anvils or the dimensions of the cavity of the pressure cylinders with only integers.
